*Role : Sr. Java Developer* *Location : San Antonio* *Start Date : ASAP* *Duration : 6 Months + * *Rate : 50/hr max rate * *No OPT please* *Qualifications* - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or appropriate experience. - 5+ years’ experience and proven ability to deliver quality solutions within scheduled time frames. - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, required. - Must be a self-starter and able to work efficiently with little supervision. *Skills and Experience* *Must Have* - Expert in core java development using Java 7 or higher - Strong experience developing and supporting Java applications in a structured environment - Strong experience with JSON and XML - Strong experience developing with SQL and the MySQL database - Strong experience in developing web based applications utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript *Nice to Have* - Experience developing on Tomcat - Experience with XLS parsing tools (jXLS) - Experience in cross-platform integration using web services (REST). - Experience with Maven scripts and continuous build tools (Hudson, Jenkins) - Experience in Agile Software, Rally tools. - Experience with JSON parsing methodologies/tools. - Familiar with version control systems like Perforce and GIT HUB.
