Location: Austin, TX Duration: 3 Months Rate: 40$/hr Our client is looking for a Senior Microsoft .NET/ SharePoint Software Developer that will play a critical role in developing and delivering innovative solutions focusing on Business Intelligence Dashboards, Attractive UI Presentation, and Application Integration. These solutions will utilize the Microsoft technology stack which includes Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 (WSS 3.0), Visual Studio, and various other .NET components as the dominant platform. Job Requirements Full lifecycle experience designing large scale, scalable software applications. Mentoring 4 junior .NET developers 5+ years Object Oriented Programming (OOP) software development experience in designing, building and deploying highly scalable web based enterprise applications 3+ years Development experience with Microsoft.NET technologies (e.g. ASP.NET 2.0/3.0, C#, XML, IIS, BizTalk Server, SQL Server, etc.) Development experience in a MOSS 2007 environment including masterpages, Share Point Lists, and other standard web presentation technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript) SharePoint experience should include Web Parts development, debugging and troubleshooting with a focus on designing, coding, deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations. Design, develop and deliver applications on the Microsoft SharePoint platform to include: prototyping of concepts to proof of concept design and development of source code module design and coding. development and testing application debugging design and implementation of software patterns used in appropriate scenarios Experience with loosely coupled architectures (feeds, syndication, messaging) or SOA Accurately assess the risks associated with each solution design / project. Support the development of team members from a professional and technical level. Effectively manage multiple priorities of a small team of software developers. Effectively manage day-to-day tasks / activities of a team of developers to effectively meet the deliverables and schedule of a large, complex software development project. Be able to clearly communicate complex technical designs and solutions in clear, concise and easily readable format by both technical and non- technical personnel. Perform additional job-related duties as requested. Optional: Some exposure to server farm installation, management, administration would be a plus.
