Back end systems include Oracle database, Alfresco document management system, Activity workflow management. Interfaces with Kofax scanning solution, and leverages IAIABC standard for electronic data interchange (EDI). This system is replacing an existing system, and involves data migration from oracle database, and document/task migration from FileNet document management system platform into Alfresco solution. Tech lead will guide the development effort of around 8 other developers. Also guides the data migration, document migration and task migration from legacy system in the remaining areas. Requirement – Looking for an experienced Java Tech Lead to lead development effort. Needs to analyze process flows and use cases to create data model, and create helper classes for the developers to build code. Lead effort of around 8 developers for Java development and data migrations scripts development. The project is in flight and, we need a strong and experienced resource. *Qualifications –* 1. 4+ years of tech lead or architect experience 2. 8+ years of experience in J2EE design and development 3. Experience leading other developers on the team 4. Experience with business process automation project – workflows, work queues, interfaces 5. Ability to understand and analyze use cases (business rules, data elements, process flows) 6. Experience with JSF 2, EJB 3, JPA 2, JBoss EAP 6.x on Redhat Linux 6.x Server Environment 7. Experience in building systems from scratch – full life cycle development experience 8. Experience in data mapping – understand legacy data and map to new model for migration 9. Should be a strong data modeler to offer the best transactional performance and data integrity 10. Ability to recommend and integrate new tools into the solution when needed 11. Ability to build and deploy on JBoss EAP 6.x in Redhat Linux 6.x 12. Must be able to create technical design document – Class and Sequence diagrams 13. Experience in Data Analysis, Data Modeling, Data Migration and write complex SQL 14. Experience in document management system is preferred but not mandatory 15. Experience in electronic data interchange (EDI) is preferred but not mandatory *Job duties:* 1. Technical analysis of use cases – derive data model (tables/relationships) 2. Create class/sequence diagrams or helper classes (sample code) and explain the approach to developers 3. Review the code received from developers for adherence to technical specifications, standards 4. Provide review comments to developers and get the necessary changes done to code 5. Merge/Integrate code and deploy the new code baseline for testing 6. Analyze legacy data model, create source to target mapping for data migration and explain data migration process to PL/SQL developer 7. Review migrated data and pass on comments to backend/database developer to finalize the data migration scripts 8. Participate in performance review of developers, recommend improvements 9. Assist in recruiting additional developers when needed 10. Try out new tools or techniques when needed – learn existing interfaces – Snowbound viewer, Alfresco Document Management System, Activity workflow management system. 11.
