Please send resume to *[email protected] <[email protected]>Firewall AdministratorLocation: San Jose, CADuration: 6+ Months* -Detailed knowledge of modern stateful and application inspection enterprise firewalls from most leading vendors. -Process a large number of firewall change requests while always being mindful of organization policies and security best practices. -Very familiar with firewall needs related to splitting a large number of applications across multiple environments, similar to creating a new DR site. -Work directly with internal project teams on firewall and security requirements for their initiatives, review and implement necessary changes, and follow-up with any troubleshooting and remediation necessary. -Possess very strong L3/L4 network, firewall, and client/server troubleshooting skills. -Be familiar with enterprise workflow ticketing systems such as Remedy and general change management practices. -Provide operational support for a large scale deployment of enterprise firewalls across the globe. -Perform PCI or SOX-related audits on firewall rulebases.
