*Job Title : Application Programmer (Java)Location : Boston, MADuration : 12 Months* Client is seeking an application developer to support the development of its trading and clearing applications for its FCM business. Clients FCM business encompasses multiple business lines including futures execution, futures clearing, and fixed income clearing businesses. *Responsibilities: * • Employ core technologies and agile development methodologies in vogue in the current team • Participate in server-side development activity for back-end Java-based services using REST, SOAP or related protocols • Collaborate with business analysts, other developers, and QA team members to build and deploy applications in support of business and technical initiatives. *Qualifications :* • A BS or BA in Computer Science or Information Technology • Minimum of 8 years of development experience • Financial service experience and knowledge of exchange traded derivatives and fixed income products strongly preferred. *Required Skills :* • Proficiency in Java development, RESTful service development, JUnit, SQL, and experience with database technologies such as Oracle • Strong understanding of frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Apache Camel • Familiarity with messaging technologies such as IBM MQ / ActiveMQ, UNIX shell scripting, build/SCM tools like TeamCity/Bamboo/Jenkins, SVN/GIT/Perforce, Maven • A consummate team player that can work on demanding projects under extremely tight deadlines Please respond with Resume, Rate and Phone numbers of the Consultant.
