*Sr SAP ABAP DEVELOPER* *Costa Mesa, CA* *3 months + contract* *Rate: $**70-75C2C* *Job Descriptions : * The SAP ABAP Developer will be responsible for all aspects of the development life cycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, implementation, configuration and support for all SAP systems including integration with non-SAP applications. The candidate will collaborate with key users to support existing SAP functionality and develop solutions to improve business processes. The candidate will also possess excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, be highly motivated and a quick learner. Successful candidates will be able to understand production business processes, and translate them to sustainable technical solutions. This position includes ongoing project-based development work, as well as day to day support of existing applications. · Extensive experience in ABAP development, with both custom development and customizations to existing processes, including use of IDOCs, RFC, BAPI, BADI, ALV, LSMW, ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, Reports BDC and SAP Scripts. · Support SAP modules by implementing, solving break/fix issues, and by providing design and development of RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms and Workflows). · Good knowledge of SAP SD, MM, FI, CO & PP modules. · Write technical specifications. · Design the best technical approaches for the given functional designs. · Present design proposals, conduct meetings and execute training sessions. · Translate functional specifications into technical specifications with detailed knowledge of SAP tables/fields. · Manage the efforts of third party consulting partners. · Experience supporting interfaces with third party software. · Proficient in estimating work and delivering to plan. · Ability to troubleshoot production problems in a timely manner. · Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical personnel. · Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. · Strong analytical skills. · Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
