Position: Cognos BI Developer with Daptiv Location: Chicago, IL Length: 2 months w/option for additional time Start Date: ASAP Rate: Market *Description:*** The consultant will provides Subject matter expertise with Cognos BI report-redesign. Consultant will gather requirements. Will be responsible for designing semantic layer, creating high level & detailed report designs as well as complex reports and report templates. This Cognos developer would be working within the ePMO on the PPM tool *Daptiv** *which Cognos is the reporting tool/layer. Conduct code reviews. *Skills:*** 1. Must have exp 3-5 yrs exp BI Analysis exp Information Delivery solution preferably ---Must have prior exp assisting in gathering, identifying & clarifying reporting requirements a. Ability to translate requirements into design specifics that leverage pre-built COGNOS and/or Impact Analysis components and how these components may need to be expanded or extended or configured to achieve requirements b. Exp working with Daptiv 2. Must be able to perform the following activities including: a. Consultant will gather requirements. b. Designing semantic layer, c. Creating high level & detailed report designs a d. Creating complex reports and report templates. 3. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization. 4. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator 5.
