Here is the job description: Title: Network Engineer with Cisco Certification Location: Des Moines, IA Duration: 6 months Position Description: Experience Level: 4 year degree plus 10 or more years experience. Description: Acts in a strategic role in the development and maintenance of a voice/data network. Conducts technology and network assessments, including solutions to enhance or create new business opportunities, integrating multiple technologies. Serves as the highest level voice and/or data network consultant to internal clients and technical management in all areas of the business to ensure conformity with corporate network architecture. Directs and serves as a mentor to less experienced staff. Looking for two Core Contractors that can be located in either Chandler, AZ, Des Moines, IA or Minneapolis, MN. The contractor will join the Enterprise Services team in Network Services. They will be responsible for our Data Center environments including our Network's Core. Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Support all core modules and circuits within Wells Fargo's core data centers and SuperNodes, execute change into the above environments via the WF change control process, assist on mitigating risk for the enterprise by proactively addressing capacity problems or any network related issues, participate and/or lead enterprise level projects from an engineering perspective, responsible for creating/updating network designs, responsible for designing, implementing and testing and research and implement industry best practices. Minimum Qualifications: Four year degree plus 7-10 years experience, Enterprise level routing and switching experience, iBGP / OSPF experience, Spanning tree and other layer 2 switching experience, Layer 3 routing experience (6500/4500 series), Network design/documentation experience, Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
