Job Description:* *Start Date:* ASAP *Position Code, Title, Location:* 8620– Quality Assurance Analyst – Tallahassee, FL. *Estimated Duration:* 2.5 months with 1 year extension *Type:* Temporary Project *Remote or Onsite:* On location at the Client's site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work. *Description:* Our Client, a government institution, is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst in Tallahassee, FL. *Responsibilities* include but are not limited to the following: - Evaluate and testing new or modified software programs and software development procedures to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to established guidelines; - Write, revise, and verify quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation to attain quality of software economically and efficiently; - Review new or modified program, include documentation, diagrams, and flow charts, to determine if program performs according to user requests and conforms to guidelines - Review computer operating logs and quality assurance metrics to identify program processing errors; - Recommend program improvements or corrections to programmers; - Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop detailed quality assurance approaches and delivery standards based on customer requirements; - Participate in code and design reviews with the technical teams to ensure that business needs are being met with feasible, practical, and maintainable designs that adhere to established quality standards and compliance guidelines; - Create/update project artifacts and deliverables including project proposals with realistic and maintainable solutions, scalability testing plans, and performance measurement plans; - Perform quality audits across the various project functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed; - Work with project managers and other team members to maintain accurate status information delivered as part of weekly progress reports and presentations to key stakeholders, and that outline that week’s accomplishments, deliverables produced, and planned activities for the following week; - Conduct detailed analysis of current system state, impact analysis of business and technical needs; and analyzing designs for new solutions for adherence to quality standards and guidelines; - Ensure the delivery of correctly working software components and accurate project artifacts that fully implement adopted design standards, adhere to Client enterprise technical vision, and that are in compliance with standards for Client infrastructure and software development; - Maintain focus on deadlines and deliverables to ensure timely identification of bugs or defects; - Communicate clearly and concisely in both verbal and written form. *Requirements:* - Experience with systems development, quality assurance testing and/or business process analysis experience (3+ years); - Experience as a project team member working on projects of moderate to high complexity addressing multiple programs and/or e-business systems for a large enterprise (3+ years); - Experience in Quality Management Software and Processes; - Experience composing test plans, writing test cases/scripts, automating test cases, and executing tests for solutions using Microsoft .NET and related technologies; - Experience in database testing in Microsoft SQL Server environments including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procedures, triggers and replicating datasets; - Experience in defining and tracking quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status; - Experience using Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) processes within Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2013 (preferred); - Experience with modern Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Agile software development, and structured project management methodologies (preferred); - Experience developing design and requirements documentation and artifacts such as Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), UML diagrams, User Stories, Use Cases, etc. (preferred); - Experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite (preferred); - Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering. *End of Description* -- *------* *Warm Regards,* *Rajiv* *Technical Recruiter* *IDC** Technologies* *1851 McCarthy Blvd. Suite 116, Milpitas, CA 95035* *Email: **[email protected] <[email protected]>* *Phone: **408-457-9399 Ext: 2094* *Gtalk: **recruitraj.iv* *in: **in.linkedin.com/in/recruitraj <http://in.linkedin.com/in/recruitraj>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
