*Position : Technical Project Manager* *Location : San Francisco, CA* *Duration : 12 months plus* *Expirence: 10+ Yrs* As the Technical Project Manager/ Scrum Master , you will be accountable for the release of bi-weekly projects and support the team to plan, schedule, track, and communicate to all business & technology stakeholders the status of each project. You will work cross-functionally with teams to plan, schedule, and deliver projects. The right candidate will have experience in managing complex project and be intimately familiar with software development life cycles and Agile methodologies. You will help the teams follow the processes and deliver the projects on time. This position requires excellent communication skills. *RESPONSIBILITIES*: The *Technical Project Manager* will perform the following tasks: *Work closely with Product to prioritize the team backlog* Interact with the team to scope and estimate the effort and allocate resources for the various projects by stream. Perform release planning based on requirements and plan sprints with the help of the team. Work with the teams to progress projects from planning through delivery. *Facilitate daily scrum / standup meetings on projects.* Serve as a single point of contact for project pipeline, status, and process to all technology & business stakeholders. Identify project risks and provide alternatives for reducing risk, along with communication to the stakeholders. *QUALIFICATIONS* *Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5-8 years of Project Management * *experience in an Internet or e-Commerce company.* *PMP, CSM, and/or PMI-ACP certification is a plus*. Strong problem solving skills and *aptitude for analytics* *Agile or scrum master experience* alongside traditional* PjM background* Demonstrated leadership abilities Highly organized and detail-oriented Experience working effectively with competing priorities and multiple tasks Able to be self-directed with minimal supervision Excellent inter-personal communication and writing skills Possess a sense of urgency with an ability to stay focused on goals and objectives Some high level understanding of relational databases and data warehousing *concepts / SQL* Proficiency in MS Office products particularly* Visio, Excel, Access & MS Project* *Top Required Skills:* Have *Scrum Master Certification* or extensive experience working with *Agile teams* *Have IT Project Management experience working in eCommerce projects* Have good dependency management skills and aptitude for creating transparency through stakeholder communications *Project supported:* This person will be the* Scrum Master for 2-3 cross functional teams (Recommendations, Sell API)* that will be delivering work towards 2 of the top three initiatives for 2015. *Soft Skills:* Someone who loves people with a lot of positive energy and thrives on being a proactive problem solver.
