The ideal candidate will have a passion for building innovative and engaging web applications that solve the firm’s business challenges. This job requires a candidate with a solid web development track record along with strong communication and collaboration skills, a can-do attitude, creative imagination, who can join the team and make an immediate impact. Following a quick onboarding process, the candidate will be assigned to one of the team’s existing agile teams where they will be responsible for design, development and testing of our site’s new features. Specifically as a front-end developer you are expected to collaborate with designers and fellow front-end developers in delivering exacting visually designs and crisp user experiences Competencies for Success: • 4+ years’ experience in developing and supporting externally facing web applications • Experience in designing / developing responsive sites for mobile, t, desktops • Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, and JavaScript • Solid knowledge of modern browses, rending technologies and best-practices for handling differences • Strong core Javascript skills as well as proficiency in using and extending common libraries including jQuery • Experience with CSS utilities and frameworks including SASS, SCSS and Foundation • Experience with JavaScript application frameworks such as Angular and Backbone • Demonstrated proficiency in working with MVC technologies in one or more of the following environments: Ruby/Rails, J2EE, or PHP – Rails is highly preferable • Strong attention to detail in order to implement pixel perfect designs across multiple browsers • Proven problem solving skills and the ability to respond quickly to evolving requirements* Candidate Must Have : *4+ years building/supporting web applications,4+ years HTML5.
