Job Title : Business/Data Analyst
Location : Frazer, PA
Duration : 12 Months Contract
Required experience:
Reporting/BI and Decision Support applications within the Pharmaceutical
Finance and Contracting space. General understanding of 3rd party
pharmaceutical data (i.e., IMS Health) is a solid benefit. SQL skills,
direct user interaction, problem solving, communication, organization,
collaboration, small to medium project management; expert skills in
MS-Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio; self directed,
highly motivated, ability to work in a fast paced, often unstructured
environment.
Nice to have:
understanding of statistical & financial forecasting methods and algorithms;
Chargeback, Medicaid and Legislative Programs business knowledge a plus;
Business Intelligence query or reporting tool experience (such as
MicroStrategy, Oracle Hyperion), a plus; Oracle SQL and/or PL/SQL to
dynamically generate complex queries, unions, outer joins, nested queries;
working with applications that involve large data sets, including analysis
and data validation.
Applicant must meet ALL of these requirements. Description:
Business/Data Analyst to provide operational support in the IS Healthcare
Systems team to the business clients on utilization and interpretation of
data within the various reporting and decision support applications.
Role would be required to perform data extracts for business operations and
legal inquiries, data investigations, and present interpretation of data and
data caveats.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Moreover,
strong business facilitation and data analytic skills are required due to
the complex nature of the business environment (US Commercial and Government
Contracting) and complexities found in the data and various data sources
(specifically, Contracting Managed Care, Medicare Part D, Medicaid data).
