Title: Business Analyst
Location: West Virginia
Duration: 3 months
Telephone and in-person interview required
EAD or Green Card or US Citizen Required
Minimum of (8) years of Business Analyst experience
Specific work experience (projects, types of work performed)
* The successful candidate will have experience in system
development and/or managing information system vendor relationships,
with a proven history of successful project implementation.
* Several years experience and demonstrated expertise in data
warehousing, complex data manipulation, analysis and reporting of
large databases.
* Demonstrated expertise in working with teams and providing
expert technical advice such as the use of Business Intelligence and
data warehousing tools and ETL processes.
* Highly developed project management skills, in the planning,
co-ordination and completion of multiple simultaneous tasks within a
specified timeframe and with a high degree of accuracy.
Technical skills needed
* Experience with Internet and client/server architectures.
* Possesses strong knowledge of HTML, SQL, and database
design.
* Expertise with Microsoft Access.
* Knowledge of Hardware Industry Standards.
Design and Analysis of database
* Well developed analytical, statistical and numerical skills.
* Recognized computer skills in data management and data
manipulation.
* Knowledge of computer applications to prepare written reports,
spreadsheets, tables, flowcharts, and visual presentations that
incorporate quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Understands technical design specifications.
* Defines test conditions.
* Develops accurate and complete test plans.
* Documents and analyzes required information and data.
* Prepares requirements, specifications, business processes and
recommendations.
Description:
The Business Analyst must be able to review the planned architecture for
standardization, security, etc. They must be able to provide architecture
analysis and recommendations for upgrading hardware and software.
Development Office Databases
This project is the analysis of approximately 7 Microsoft Access databases.
The outcome of the analysis should determine data collection and reporting
requirements for, with priority on action to consolidate existing databases
and implement technology to provide complete, current, synchronized data.
Also, provide the capability to produce both standard and ad hoc reports
(many of the reports are executive level, aggregate, summary type reports).
Plus establish a standard user interface for diverse group of individuals,
with respect to technology skills, for both data entry and reporting.
Data warehousing Health Information
A centralized Data Warehouse initiative, to consolidate the collection and
analysis of health care data. This project is intended to streamline
processes, eliminate duplicative systems, data and effort, and realize a
cost savings.
