Job Title : Crystal Report Developer Location: Reston , VA Duration : 6 month Contract Rate : $35/hr on C2C Responsibilities will include: The successful candidate will be required to adhere to architecture standards, analyze the requirements, develop & test the code and provide necessary documentation to satisfy the business requirements. The ideal candidate would have extensive experience working in a high volume transactional web application environment using MS Sql Server 2000/2005 and must be familiar and comfortable with developing in a large corporate IT environment that requires a formalized development process, documentation, unit testing, and release management. Candidates must have experience developing reports using SAP Business Objects' Crystal Reports framework. Experience using Business Objects' Edge and Xcelsius and plus. Daily Responsibilities: Develop Reports in Crystal Reports Writing T-SQL Code, Stored procedures, SSIS packages Set up reporting environment, Design and develop reports that meet the requirements Creating engineering artifacts (HLD, DLD) for assigned tasks Understanding existing systems, while analyzing upstream, downstream system impacts Keeping track of the features and bug fixes being deployed and producing issue logs Build and distribute reports using data stored in multiple registry level applications Qualifications: Minimum 5+ years of application development experience using Microsoft SQL Server Experience developing Crystal Reports on at least two projects Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills Authoritative knowledge of T-SQL, Stored Procedures and Triggers Experience with fine-tuning and optimizing Queries and Stored Procedures Experience with SSIS. Good understanding of Logical and Physical Database Design Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong problem solving and analytical skills Strong communication skills Ability to manage/coordinate multiple development tasks Strong database schema development and report development skills Experience documenting database issues and solutions A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Excellent English language skills - verbal and written are required Must Have Skills Experience using Crystal Reports Experience in Schema Creation and Maintenance, ETL, Software Development, and PL/SQL. Experience working as a DBA and/or SQL Programmer with SQL server 2000 and above.
