The successful candidate will work in the expanse & maintenance of a corporate enterprise network environment. Services from this group focus on the secure & scalable transport of network services for multiple & diverse business units. This is a Cisco enterprise - leveraging the full range of network services provided by Cisco. Skills must include the ability to effectively communicate amongst peers & clients alike, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities. This is a fast paced environment and agility is a key indicator to the success of the group. The Data Services group is an autonomous group, requiring all members to be proficient at all the technologies supported. Specialties are exploited, but on-call & operational responsibilities (10%) do require these proficiencies. Preferred skills & proficiencies must include (but not limited to the following technologies): Routing, switching, security, WAN acceleration, URL filtering, Wireless transport (802.11 & carrier), MPLS, Telecom, VoIP, Load Balancing (local & global), troubleshooting methodologies, ITIL practices, regulatory compliance. Communication skills capable of supporting the management of multiple priorities and the acceptance as a valued team member of the Data Services team.
