*Must have Linux/VM, vSphere, vCenter knowledge and experience as well as
knowledge of Windows/VM, AIX and Solaris. SRM is a must.*

*Key responsibilities:   *
• Creates/maintains recovery scripts jointly with infrastructure staff, in
support of recovery efforts.
• Creates/maintains DR Plan using industry standard DR software
• Creates/maintains DR test scripts jointly with application owners,
infrastructure, and DR facility.
• Adheres to project scope as described by disaster recovery management
• Follows through on testing issues from multiple platforms.
• Performs technical and functional analysis for solutions supporting
several business initiatives.
• Participates in the execution of various levels of testing (unit,
systems, integration, regression, parallel, stress).
• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.
• Assists in planning and coordinating user acceptance testing.
• Will be part of a team responsible for the implementation of a
complex-scope project.
• Documents test results and responsible for post testing issues surfaced.
• Maintains disaster recovery documentation.
• Maintains good relationships with peer technical groups and other IT
organizations/groups.
• Maintains all emergency and recovery procedural documentation.
• Updates plans and solutions to ensure they reflect the ongoing evolution
of CUIT and University’s IT capabilities and their recoverability.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and/or its equivalent required
• Minimum 4-6 years’ relevant work experience.
Additional Minimum Qualifications:
• In-depth experience with disaster recovery testing, coordination, and
maintenance.
• Demonstrated experience in the area of emergency notification, crisis
management and disaster recovery testing.
• Basic knowledge of VMware Windows and Linux/VMs, Mainframe, network
components and Storage Media such as NetApp, XIV and Tape Library (LT04 &
LT06).
