Job Title: Lead .Net Developer
Location: Columbia, SC
Duration: 6 Months
Responsible for the analysis, development, modification, installation,
testing and maintenance of applications software. Possesses a strong
understanding of systems programming, graphical user interfaces and control
languages. Modifies, installs and prepares technical documentation for
system software applications. Diagnoses, isolates and de-bugs software
problems and performs problem resolution. Monitors systems capacity and
performance, plans and executes disaster recovery procedures and provides
Tier 2 technical support. Modifies and/or debugs vendor-supplied utilities
and packages.
Performs work that is highly complex and varied in nature. Develops
integrated solutions to resolve highly complex technical and business
issues.
The position will be utilized for 40 hours per week for the duration of
this project. The candidate will work closely with the Environmental
Applications Section Manager to identify, prioritize, and schedule workload
and implementation to IT standards and procedures. The position will work
with the program area team members to ensure that all business requirements
are met in the replacement system.
The legacy programs require full functionality migration and additional
features to comply with modern technology and supporting business
operations. This will also include new security policy/procedures as well
as integrating systems when possible to streamline staff workflows, user
security, and data correction.
