The position will report to the Project Manager. The incumbent will provide research support for a multi-component research project involving secondary data analysis and potentially primary data collection. The analyst will compile, clean, manage, and analyze quantitative data using systematic and replicable procedures . Aggregate data across lines of business/corporate functions/regions for reporting critical information. Proactively communicate reporting modifications and process changes to contributors based on senior management requests and personal observations. Drive adoption and enforce best practices in templates. Ensure key trends, issues and watch items are brought forward from the metrics into management summaries clearly. Assist in real-time risk detection and communicate escalation items to executive management to improve transparency and enhance control monitoring. Work closely with the Data Integration team to automate data feeds and standardize reporting. Assist in Risk Control Self-Assessments and requests for information from Audit. Assist in the development and maintenance of reporting procedures in accordance with regulations. Mandatory Skill/Expertise Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or management A minimum of 5 years’ data management experience A minimum of 5 years’ experience gathering and documenting requirements. Experience documenting requirements for data sharing efforts. Ability to develop functional requirements Understanding of a variety of programming languages, architectures, and standards (e.g., J2EEJava, n-tier architecture, service oriented architecture) Programming experience and ability to program in Object Oriented or Procedural Languages is a must. Knowledge of MS Dynamics Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders; must be a team player who works well with technical and nontechnical resources; Desirable Skill/Expertise Good understanding of middleware messaging and service bus technologies Solid knowledge of data sharing standards (XML reference documents).
