*Position: PeopleSoft ERP Quality Assurance Analyst* *Location: San Francisco or Walnut Creek, CA* *Duration: 6-12 Months* *Interview: Phone and F2F* *Job Description:* - Strong experience in *software quality assurance* and quality control preferably from an enterprise application organization - Have a solid understanding of *QA methodologies, software development life cycle, and release management * - Minimum 5+ years of experience in developing *test plan, test cases* for various levels of testing and performing functional, UI, sanity and load testing for a *web based enterprise application* for *PeopleSoft Core HCM Payroll and Benefits version 9.0 as well as PeopleSoft Financials*. A rock solid understanding of PeopleSoft functionality and technology is required. - Experience with test automation tools is preferred. - Must be able to work in a team environment and handle multiple tasks - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Must be detail-oriented and be able to work independently and be self-directed - Have proven problem-solving abilities - Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high degree of efficiency - Individuals with Oracle-PeopleSoft certifications are preferred. *Additional Qualifications * - PeopleTools experience. Strong SQL skills required. *Role and responsibilities:* The PeopleSoft ERP Quality Assurance Analyst will work closely with the Sr. QA ERP QA Manager to comprehensively test our PeopleSoft ERP system. This position involves software testing which impacts new and existing functionality, using software quality assurance principles to track performance, identify and communicate problems in a bug tracking system, and aid in their resolution. Leads test effort on medium to large-scale development projects. Keeps up with the latest release information coming from Oracle-PeopleSoft. Represents QA team as required in project meetings, and recommends enhancements to development and test practices at the project level.
