*Job Description : * · The candidate needs to have an understanding of Security Master Data (also referred to as Reference Data). This is a Business Systems Analyst role. Need to have experience gathering requirements and working in a project oriented environment. It is not an operations role. · Knowledge of Market Data is required (Bloomberg, Client, IDC, etc.). · Experience with a Reference Data platform implementation such as Cadis (now known as Market EDM) is a big plus. Other similar platforms include Golden Source, Eagle and Asset Contol. Any experience with any of these platforms would be a big plus. · We are seeking 7 plus years of experience in Project Roles in a financial services company. Strong skills in Business Analysis and Project Management are necessary. · Technical: SQL and database skills. · Sources: The likely candidate will come out of another asset manager or market data vendor. *Qualifications* · Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience throughout a project lifecycle, preferably in a financial services environment · Degree in Finance, Information Science, or related discipline. Advanced degree or related professional certification preferred. Progress towards CFA a plus · Advanced knowledge of tools and techniques for presenting and analyzing data including; SQL, Access, Excel, relational databases and data marts · Proven relationships with leading data vendors (e.g. Bloomberg, Client, IDC) · Experience with security master data (security reference, derived, fundamental, and analytic data) and workflows associated with maintaining the data · Experience with solutions for managing reference data (e.g. Golden Source, Markit EDM (aka Cadis), Eagle, Asset Control.
