*Job Title: *QA Analyst

*Location: *Irvine, CA

*Duration: *6 - 12 Months +



*Position responsibilities: *

•             Responsible for assessing work efforts and the necessary
time-to-completion estimates.

•             Quickly understand business requirements, specifications and
processes.  Recommend testing solutions to effectively test the new
functionalities.

•             Available and accessible to participate in the testing of
production issues.  Regularly inspects known issues to identify trends and
behaviors which require additional testing efforts.

•             Manages the process of innovative change.  Facilitates
effective teamwork while acknowledging team member contributions.

•             Continually seek opportunities to increase customer
satisfaction and deepen business relationships.

•             Design, implementation and documentation of test cases and
addition of these test cases to the automated test suites

•             Author and maintains automated scripts using an existing
automation framework.

•             Mentor those with less experience through informal channels.
Individually seek and participate in development opportunities for personal
growth.

•             Lead testing efforts to ensure issues are identified, tracked
and resolved in a timely manner.  Work with business managers to
incorporate new requirement changes in testing solutions.

•             Proactively seek opportunities to serve in leadership roles.

•             Lead internal teams and/or task forces.

•             Defect prevention through early involvement with project
teams.

•             Defect reporting and tracking.

•             May require overtime or off-peak hours required to meet
commitments.

•             Performs other related duties as assigned.



*Essential skills, knowledge and abilities:*



•             Ability to analyze, understand, assess and recommend
solutions to testing challenges.

•             Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or
university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.

•*             A minimum of 4 years of experience as a QA Engineer/Sr. QA
Engineer.  *

*•             A minimum of 2 years of experience Windows client/server and
web based applications required.  *

•             Strong experience with QA processes and methodologies
required; automated and manual test processes, black box, white box and
gray box testing, test cases design, scripting, execution, automated test
tools.

•             Testing experience on Windows platforms required.

•             Experience in implementing an automated test environment
required.

•             Performs other related duties as assigned.



*Non-essential skills, knowledge and abilities: *

•             Programming experience a plus (C#.net, ASP.net)

•             Stress, load and performance test tool(s) experience is
desirable.

•             Web testing experience a plus.
