MD* *Duration: 5+ Years* *RESPONSIBILITIES:* Currently looking for a Web/SharePoint Developer for a long-term position in the Bethesda, MD area. *REQUIREMENTS*: · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with five (5) or more years of professional experience; or nine (9) years of experience without a degree · Five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience developing web applications in SharePoint 2010 and MS SQL Server 2008/2005, and/or building SharePoint web parts and web solutions on other software platforms · Experience with Mobile application development such as Canvas a strong plus · Experience with other open source development environments and Unix platforms a strong plus. · Applicants selected must meet eligibility requirements for a Public Trust clearance. *TECHNICAL SKILLS:* • Extensive experience with Agile software development projects • Analyze, diagnose, and update existing SharePoint applications • Develop, publish and implement high-quality dynamic intranet/internet web applications in response to validated customer requirements • Extensive experience in web development using ASP.Net, MVC, HTML/HTML5, AJAX, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript and JQuery • Strong skills in Microsoft .NET 4.0, C#, SharePoint Designer, Security and Workflow Manager • Strong Knowledge of security standards and techniques for web applications • Solid experiences in developing Web Services using Restful, SOAP, and web socket technologies. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and reporting services. • Experience in Mobile application development for iOS and Android • Create documentation as required by the client's development methodology and according to project standards • Identify and implement emerging enterprise standards and practices for content management and application development • Participate in requirements gathering and decomposition, including user collaboration • Maintain project standards as directed by the Project Management Team • Experience with and/or understanding of federal security and privacy guidelines and Section 508 compliance requirements • Familiar with JIRA tool for issue tracking, Agile planning and management and Confluence for teamwork content collaboration and documentation Hari Prasad.
