*Oracle PL/SQL Developer*
*Southfield, MI *
*Contract thru 10/2015, will most likely be extended*
Candidates should have 2-3 experience with PL/SQL development using Oracle.
The Developer will be responsible for the Design, Development and
Implementation of data extraction processes using Oracle PL\SQL.
*Detailed Description:*
Must possess strong Oracle database skills
Must be able to conceptualize, design and write complex SQL
queries and PL/SQL stored procedures and functions
Must be able to understand various Query Execution Paths
Should have experience in Query Tuning and Performance Optimization
Should have experience and general understanding of Data modeling,
Entity Relationship, Use Case etc.
Prepare and Unit Test Code in Oracle PL/SQL on Oracle 11g Unix
environment using tools like TOAD, SQL developer
Prepare and Execute Unit Test Plan and Unit Test Cases
*Skills Required:*
Oracle PL/SQL Development – 3+ years’ experience
Performance Tuning – 2+ years’ experience
Data Extraction – 2+ years’ experience
Oracle Dev Tools (Toad, SQL navigator, etc) – 3+ years’ experience
Experience with High Volume data processing – 2+ years’ experience
*Unique Competencies:*
Ability to understand complex business rules and translate into
system design
Detail oriented with analytical skills
Teamwork, analytical skills and initiative
Capable of performing tasks in dynamic/changing circumstances
Good communication skills required for interface with various
stakeholder groups
*Educational Requirements:*
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent amount
of work experience in a Developer role
