*Senior Informatica Developer*



*Position Description*:
The candidate will be involved in
*developing Informatica Mappings and writing complex Oracle PL/SQL programs
*Responsibilities will also include tasks involving analyzing transaction
errors, troubleshooting issues in the software, developing bug-fixes,
involving performance tuning efforts, must have strong Oracle PL/SQL
experience as well as strong Oracle database structure creation,
modification experience.

Ideal candidate will be an individual who takes ownership of a process,
accountable for its day to day activities, able to work independently or as
part of a team, and seeks to work on a diverse range of programming
languages and technologies.


Qualifications:

·         Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information
Systems or other related field

 *Work Experience*
• 7-10 years of programming/systems analysis experience and 3-5 years of
relevant experience with emphasis in applications and systems engineering
development, database and middleware technologies.



*Required skills:*

·         5 years of experience in development, maintenance, and
enhancement of Informatica Mappings, Work-flows, and processes

·         More than 4 years of demonstrated experience with the Informatica
suite of products

·         Experience in data warehouse and data mart environments

·         Experience in developing and deploying Informatica in Unix and
Oracle 11g database environment

·         Several years of experience building and implementing scalable,
reliable, and high-performance ETL architectures

·         Ability to analyze and retrieve metadata from Informatica
repository

·         Ability to architect an ETL solution and data conversion strategy

·         Proficiency with RDBMS systems, SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, UNIX Shell
scripting, and database optimizations

·         Understanding of modern software engineering principles,
practices, and systems development methodologies

·         Familiarity with database analysis, design, and programming, with
an understanding of related technologies (i.e. Java, XML, web services,
XSLT, SOAP, WSDL, etc.)

·         Demonstrated experience optimizing and troubleshooting poorly
performing ETL mappings.

·         Strong communication skill to work with client, business users
and team members

·         Ability to work independently once guidance and goals are provided

·         Ability to work well as a team.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills


*Desirable criteria & qualifications*

·         Current Informatica Developer course certification is preferred.

·         Preferably prior technical experience with ERP systems including
Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft etc.

·         Proficiency with job scheduling tools such as Autosys, Unix CRON,
TIDAL, Control-M etc.

·         Experience with Change Data Capture (CDC) technologies

·         SFDC integration experience with other internal and third party
applications

·         Wholesale Banking experience

·         Financial Services Experience

·         Experience working with offshore teams/resources
