*Job Title: *QA Analyst *Location: *Irvine, CA
*Duration: *6 - 12 Months + *Position Summary* The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is a key member of a team that applies the latest big data and machine learning technologies to change the way consumers shop for cars online. The successful candidate will work with team members to help provide cutting-edge test solutions to test our big data framework. *Key responsibilities* § Creates, maintains and executes automated test suites under the guidance of the Quality Assurance Engineer. § Works closely with product and development teams to help develop test strategies based on architectural design and requirements. § Develops, executes and maintains test cases and test processes for products. § Performs research and analysis to help solve product and technical problems. § Assists with deployments, verification and support of applications in Production. § Updates documentation for QA processes and procedures. § Helps maintain the QA environment to ensure optimal test performance. § Engages in defect triage, reporting and tracking. § Conducts data analyses to assess issues in terms of magnitude and potential root causes. § Engages in defect prevention through early involvement with product and development teams. § Tracks and reports test status and test results. § Performs other related duties as assigned. *Essential skills and Behaviors* § Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a QA Analyst/QA Engineer. § Strong experience working with shell scripting. Must be able to understand and write moderate-to-complex shell scripts. § Strong problem solving skills with ability to effectively communicate ideas and analysis findings to non-technical and technical audiences. § Strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning, problem recognition, and problem resolution skills § Shows great attention to detail with creative thinking capacity. § Ability to read, analyze, interpret and extract requirements/instructions from a variety of sources in order to determine effort scope.
