Title: Sr.Cross Plane Devloper Location: San Francisco, CA Duration: 6+months Job Description Roles and Responsibilities You will be part of the Agile Application Architecture (A3) development team. A3 team is responsible for the development of enterprise J2EE applications and business services that provide business solutions for Delta Dental business. Your role is the development of middle tier services and supporting business logic, business rules, orchestration-logic, domain objects, and data access layer. You should expert at Object Oriented development using J2EE building blocks, components ,and frameworks. A3 middle tier services, and business logic is deployed on Oracle Application Server infrastructure. • Technical J2EE development resource who is a subject matter expert on J2EE Business tier component design and development. • Implement Use-Case business logic as java components, libraries, API, patterns, and services interfacing with integration and data services layers to extract business data and in turn provide this data for use by presentation layer developers and architects (FrontPlane). • Document business tier design (JavaDoc), API, patterns, best practices, and coding standards. • Participate in code review and detailed design reviews. • Provide support and access to all CrossPlane components. Required Job Skills Applicant must have at least 8 years experience developing for the J2EE platform, candidates with 10+ years of experience are preferred. By 8-10 experience we expect the candidate has consistently designed, developed, unit-tested, and enhanced working application components as part of enterprise size projects. OS Development on Windows XP, Sun Solaris/Unix (optional) Architectures Sun J2EE Business logic design and development using interface oriented design principles, architectural frameworks such as EJB, Spring, Hibernate, Log4J, JAXP, AOP, Business Objects, Service Objects, Data Access Objects (DAO), Value Objects (VOs), MVC, and so on.
