*Position: Project ManagerLocation: Forth Worth, TXDuration: 6-12 Months*

JD:

Client is in need of a Project Manager resource, capable of supporting the
various Cargo Infrastructure implementations. The following are a list of
overall skills desired to work with Cargo Application Development, Cargo
Infrastructure, Client Architecture and Shared Service existing and future
Stakeholders:

Summary: Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in release management.
Responsible for coordinating Release effort amongst various teams
(Application Development, Infrastructure Engineers/Build Engineers, QA,
Testing, and Business Analysis). Ability to lead and effectively
communicate with Engineers, Developers and Managed Service Providers. Quick
and creative thinker. Agile and Scrum experience a plus. Strong experience
with building strategic relationships and ability to remove road blocks
through negotiation. PM will not directly manage others and will be a
strategic team member. Must be able to absorb information quickly, retain
information, react calm and think clearly when a release fails, control
stressful situations and manage communication to leadership. Must also be
willing to support evening implementations.


Education/Experience
o Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer
engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree
preferred.
o 5-7 years experience required

Responsibility level
o Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor

Skills
o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills,
attention to detail and interpersonal skills (Required)
o Ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required)
o Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic
planning, resource allocation, and production methods (Typically required)

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity
o Coordinating Release effort amongst various teams (Development, QA,
Testing, and Business Analysis) in geographically separated environment.
o Creation of Release Plan, Definition, collection, analysis & presentation
of Release Project Metrics on weekly basis.
o Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others,
to solicit cooperation and resolve problems
o Works with release team to determine an appropriate build schedule.
o Holds daily scrum meetings and has experience with Agile projects.
