*Job Title: Storage Admin* *Location: Richardson, TX* *Duration: 6 Months* *Qualification:* • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. • At least 7 + years of experience with IT Infrastructure Skills *Skills Required: Storage Admin * • 5+ years of Experience in Managing SAN storage Environment • 5+ years of Experience in Managing the Brocade and Nexus switches • Should have Good knowledge and experience along with Servers (AIX/LINUX/Windows), ESX servers and networking. • AIX Server administration experience a Plus along with Storage administration. • Experience in zoning using Brocade /Cisco, storage provisioning,Troubleshooting and configuration • Should have Hands on experience in Managing SAN and Storage Arrays(IBM XIV/V7000/EMCVMAX/HDS Having good hands on the SAN storage would be added advantage • Should have knowledge on Reclaiming servers from storage side. • Should have knowledge on NAS. • Configuring the Storage and SAN • Firmware upgrade on both storage and San Fabric. • Migrations storage side. *Storage Admin Responsibilities:* • LUN Configuration and management for Servers(AIX/LINUX/Windows/ESX ) • Managing and monitoring the day to day Critical Incidents on SAN storage. • Troubleshooting SAN storage related Incidents and coordinating with vendor to resolve the issue within specified SLA’s. • Root cause analysis. • Resolve Performance issues. • Implementing new project requests as per the client demand. • Thin provisioning and data rationalization • Provide high attention to production related service requests/Changes per change requests. • Need to coordinate with wintel, UNIX tracks to perform any Production/Development /testing related issues. • 24x7 support for all major / critical incidents • Operational support • LUN Decommissioning. • Scripting. • DR testing • Work assigned from time to time by the Cluster Lead. *Personal Skills:* Besides the professional qualifications of the candidates we place great importance in addition to various forms personality profile.
