*Job Title : Quality Assurance Analyst * *Location : Milwaukee, WI*
*Duration : Long Term* *I need 2 maybe 3 of these roles ASAP* *1099 or c2c—must be GC or Citizen* *Responsibility Level: * Under general supervision, the qualified candidate evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering or technology principles and techniques to assigned business problems. The candidate ensures that results meet established needs, goals and timelines. The candidate is expected to have good knowledge of Agile development and be able to implement that methodology. *Principal Duties: * · Develops and implements high level QA test plans and test cases for assigned functional area; Defines test approaches and strategies using technical requirements and inputs from Business Analysts. · Creates and executes detailed test scenarios and workflows for assigned applications from the user’s perspective, applying systematic testing principles to attain good coverage. Submits comprehensive report results and performs bug-fix verification tests. · Creates, Maintains and executes automated regression suites. · Configures and maintains multiple testing environments. · Works closely with Project Managers,Business SMEs, and Software Developers to ensure quality implementation of requirements and software development standards. · Utilizes lifecycle management platform, bug tracking system, and collaborative programs to coordinate business processes. · Evaluates testing effectiveness and consults with management to implement adjustments. · Participates in Program / Work strem meetings in related business areas. · Performs related duties as assigned. *Requirements: * · Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or closely related discipline with experience in current software quality assurance practices. · 5+ years related software testing or systems quality assurance experience. · Strong working knowledge of software testing methodologies and software development life cycle. · Strong process orientation and knowledge of the entire Quality Assurance life cycle. · Experience configuring and conducting automated testing using commercial test automation tools, such as Microsoft Test Professional, Quick Test Professional (QTP) or TestComplete, and scripting languages such as Perl, Python, shell and bash. · Experience with application lifecycle management platform, and defect tracking system, such as PTC Integrity, ClearQuest, or JIRA. · Ability to work independently with excellent organizational skills and the flexibility and adaptability to work on multiple projects. · Strong analytical, design, and problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. *The Ideal Candidate will also meet the following requirements: * · Knowledge of commercial / industrial HVAC design.
