The C++ Developer will be on a team of engineers responsible for the improvement and enhancement of a new software release. The team size is 10 engineers who will work very close to achieve the end goal of improving the software used for the controls. If interested please contact Alexa Waggoner at [email protected] . *Must have Technologies:* · Proven application of C++ · Proven application of a Windows GUI application development, in particular, clients developed with MFC · Familiar with WPF / C# · General knowledge of Microsoft Windows User Experience Design Guidelines · Able to work in an existing large code base *Required activities include:* · Working to drive out the detailed user experience design · Documenting, demonstrating, and reviewing user experience design solutions by developing documentation outlining user interface, workflow, and interactions. · Documenting, demonstrating, and reviewing code by developing documentation, flowcharts, class diagrams, code comments and clear code. · Developing code in accordance to the development process that includes design, code, test cases, and documentation. · Reacting to and correcting any problems with what was designed and developed · Investigating technical solutions. Document, demonstrate, and recommend solutions to the investigation *Technologies/Frameworks used:* · Microsoft Windows SDK · C++/MFC · STL · Objective Grid and Edit · ActiPro Property Pane · RSLogix *Code Concepts:* · Image updates to MFC Control Bars · Change the look and behavior of a MFC Controlbar · Make layout changes to the C++ classes representing graphical objects · Change color options of 3rd party grid controls · Change color options and drawing of C++ classes representing graphical objects · Change visual theme of MFC based application. Investigate use of the VisualStateManager · Evaluate use of 1st party component. May entail setting up component to be re-usable. · Update visual look of windows common controls (ex: tree).
