*Need Data Warehouse developer in DC - 6+ Months contract!* Position : Data Warehouse developer Location : Washington,DC Duration : 6+ Months *Must have experience with pentaho!* Skills Required: Pentaho Business Analytics HP Vertica Apache Spark Apache Storm Responsibilities: Please identify the key requirements (must-haves) for this candidate. Experience with Pentaho Data Integration Experience with Data Modelling Experience with Data Warehousing Experience with ETL, Jobs, Scheduling Maintenance etc. Experience with Pentaho Business Analytics Experience working with HP Vertica or any other Columnar Database Provide a brief description of the project in which they will be working on. Project is for the development of datamarts using Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) for data analytics for USAC’s ongoing Enterprise Data Strategy program. Specific USAC OLTP (Oracle) databases will be used and ETL jobs will be developed. The project involves the technical documentation of the ETL jobs developed also. Qualifications: Serves as technical team leader in the development of business intelligence solutions and other reports and analysis across all divisions of the organization. Writes complex SQL scripts to extract data from various databases and systems to make data available for enterprise reporting. Provides day-to-day management of overall reporting environment. The results provide ongoing support to USAC decision-makers, the FCC, Congress, and other interested parties.
