Title: *Business Analyst- Financial*

*POSITION SUMMARY:*
- Track and report IES capital project costs and deliverables, including
invoices and payments
- Develop and maintain tracking and monitoring tools for project
timelines and contract milestones
- Participate in IES Project meetings internally and with vendor
contacts
- Maintain IES Project financial documentation related to project
milestones and deliverables
- Organize data from a variety of sources to improve the decision making
process
- Communicate and collaborate with IES Project manager, DTA affiliates,
EHS IT, and business team members and other stakeholders
- Coordinate monthly and quarterly status reports for IES Project with
ITD
- Interpret internal reports and reconcile against project plans
- Meet with project manager to present and discuss cash flow analysis of
encumbrances and expenditures
- Assist IES Project manager in preparing presentations of findings
- Discuss recommendations for improvements based on financial
reconciliation
Qualifications:
- Experience with Commonwealth of Massachusetts:
- Fiscal Policy
- Budgets Process
- Accounts Payable
- Revenue
- MMARS
- CIW
- Familiarity with IT Project Management (PMO)
- Experience with federal reporting preferable
- Ability to navigate through multi-dimensional departmental
hierarchies & idiosyncrasies
- Understanding of CMS claiming, FFP and related federal reporting
requirements
- Strong report building skills with solid understanding of cash flow
calculations
- Strong background in general accounting principals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Access and Excel
