*Please let me know if you have any consultant for this position.* *Role: Business Analyst* *Location: Raleigh, NC* *Duration: 1 Year* *Rate: $50/hr C2C* *Interview: Phone & Skype (Locals preferred)* *Client: North Carolina Department of Transportation.* *Responsibilities* include but are not limited to the following: - Responsible for operation and maintenance of an Automated Routing and Permitting System (third party permitting system); - Troubleshoot issues with a third party permitting software running on a PC with web components; - Run needed ad-hoc queries against an Oracle database built by a third party vendor; - Communicate with the clients regarding issues and needed changes; - Communicate with the vendor regarding necessary changes for the customer; - Provide limited support for new processes during implementation; - Consult with clients to prototype, refine, test, and debug applications and processes to meet needs; - Provide quality control for deliverables. *Requirements:* - Experience as a Business Analyst (5+ years); - Experience with enterprise level development programs; - Experience in troubleshooting software; - Experience with Oracle database ad-hoc Query; - Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project); - Experience in evaluating business processes and re-engineering.
