Client is migrating 997 applications from Sequel to Microstrategy. Expected to be long term, (renew every 3 months) Client is located in Houston,TX *Roles and Responsibilities:* Analyzed data to create complex reports according to customer requirements. Designed and created dynamic dashboards for daily, weekly and periodic sales analysis. Created and implemented above widgets into Microstrategy web and Narrowcast Server. Created various narrowcast services to deliver the files to users via e-mails as well as to the file locations. Created e-mail services using Narrowcast Server to notify users about the file updates on web site. Used various Pre and Post sql statements for notification system. Created I-Server and Narrowcast data-load schedules. Created and used various custom excel templates for report formatting in Narrowcast Server. Improved the performance of the dashboards using VLDB properties. Improved the design and performance of the existing dashboards. Created user level security using system prompt. Created Derived Tables in the Universe using views and Sequels to meet the Reporting Requirements. Created value prompts, so that the selections can be automatically passed to next dashboard without re-prompting. Verified whether the reports and extracts created are correct as per database by querying in Sequel Viewpoint. Setup to clear the cache of the reports and to re-run them on data-load.
