Data Scientist/Big Data Engineer *2++ years of experience working as Data Scientist dealing with PB++ data with deep expertise in building infrastructure for Big Data platform with *Deep expertise and hands on experience on installation, deployment, administration of Hadoop on large scale cluster implementations. * Implementing Hadoop eco systems such as HBase, HDFS, Map-Reduce, Pig, Hive and others. *Deep expertise in building big data platforms, such as Hadoop, on cloud infrastructure, such as AWS, OpenStack, and others. *Solid background in dealing with traditional RDBMS Platform such as Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase, or MySQL, etc. for loading/extracting data against Big data platform. • Broad understanding and experience of real-time analytics. • Working knowledge of java / python/R development. • Masters’ degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or other related technical discipline is preferred. • Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile development methodology • Ability to understand business drivers and customer needs • Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with many stakeholders • Strong writing skills to create necessary development documentation • Ability to communicate technical information in a clear, precise, and actionable manner to broad ranges of audiences • Initiative, dependability, cooperation and thoroughness in a team environment • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Professional attitude with ability to prioritize work, multi-task, flex between changing priorities, and strong time management is critical in our rapidly changing environment • Passion for learning and keeping up with emerging technologies / industry trends and applying them as necessary Regards, *Sara Wilson* - Staffing Manager Direct : 646-340-0603 [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
