We have an urgent requirement for QA Tester in NY*.* *LOCATION: Brooklyn NY* *DURATION: 6+* *INTERVUEW Mode: Phone then F2F* *End client name: Bank of NY* *Detailed JD* *Responsibilities *§ Attend design review meetings and understand the functionality being built. § Develop and execute both manual and automation test scripts. § Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, and system testing. Prepare test data when needed. § Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Developers and User Acceptance Testers to mitigate defects found in QA and UAT environment. § Create Test Result reports after execution is complete. *Requirements* § Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Math, or Information Systems. *§ 7-9 years of experience in testing web applications and quality assurance. § Strong Knowledge of ETL concepts and solid experience in writing SQL queries. *§ Ability to work well within group or individually on projects. § Good communication and interpersonal skills. § Through understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC). § Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools such as HP ALM/Quality Center. § Strong knowledge of testing in Service Oriented Architecture and experience with web service testing and tools such as SoapUI, HP Service Test. § *Familiarity with XML and XML schemas as a data transport and storage mechanism.
