Job Description: *Location: Columbus, OH* *Duration: 3+* *Interview mode: Phone then Skype* *Need on w2* *Base Requirements:* · 7+ years of experience in QA · At least 2 years of experience in a lead role for a *POS project* · Retail testing experience *Additional Requirements:* · Lead QA initiatives including managing QA teams of 2-3 people · Represents the QA team in all project status meetings. Manages multiple projects simultaneously. · Active participant in the review of project requirements to ensure testability. · Develops and communicates master test strategy. · Estimates testing effort and establishes testing schedule. · Schedules and co-facilitates test case reviews. · Makes assignments to team members and monitors progress against the QA schedule. Escalates to QA Manager and Project Manager when work is not progressing to schedule. · Reviews and provides feedback on deliverables of completed by team members including test cases and defect write-ups. Escalates concerns regarding quality of deliverables to QA Manager. · Schedules and runs defect review meetings with key project leaders including project management, business analyst, development lead. Ensures defects are logged with appropriate status and works with development to prioritize defect fixes. · Maintains project scorecard and defect trend report weekly. · Contributes to the continuous improvement of creating/refining departmental processes. · B.S.
