Position :Program Manager Location : Melville, NY Duration : 6-12 months Job Description The PMO Portfolio Manager position is responsible for the processes to support the portfolio and program management practices of the overall IT project portfolio processes administered in Clarity. Portfolio Governance: Partner with the business and Finance Control to optimize the processes for the investment portfolio model, leading to the introduction of program management, support core program management disciplines and mature business processes, now being built in the Clarity tool and adopted across client's IT Train the IT organization around how to govern, manage, track and decision its global investment agenda as supported by the Clarity tool Prepare materials and support formal governance meetings to decision new initiatives, present status updates on key strategic programs, review financials, and report realized project benefits Ensure quality of data in Clarity Design develop and implement exception reporting to highlight data quality issues with the portfolio Clarity Business Requirements Partner with the business representatives across IT and financial control and capture their requirements, normalize across IT organization Serve as liaison between business and Clarity program IT to ensure tool changes to support business requests in administering the portfolio. Strong background and skills in establishing and implementing PPM governance principles and practices Demonstrable program management capabilities, including demand management, resource management, and project management Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) to all levels Ability to quickly assess project issues and correct them through coaching and mentoring Skills in working in a collaborative and matrix environment Have a working knowledge of the major vendor solutions in the PPM space Minimum of 8 years of leading and managing programs and projects Hands-on experience in project/portfolio resource planning, reporting, prioritization, and budgeting Experience leading projects and programs within IT Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science, business, or a related discipline PMP/PMI or equivalent certification required Six Sigma experience preferred Regards Alvin Stuart Recruiter Direct:609-423-4045 alvin.stu...@itbtalent.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
