Excellent Storage capacity management skills required. Experience of an Enterprise Storage environment with block level access using FC and iSCSI, Director class FC switches in an HA 99.9% uptime environment; Multi-pathing; Knowledge of Linux and driver interaction. System Administration experience in a large-scale Unix (Linux/Solaris/BSD) environment required; Experience managing virtualized email environments. Experience setting up and regularly using monitoring and trending tools (Zenoss, Cacti, Nagios, ResmonOPS MGR); Monitoring, trending experience for various services a plus Familiarity with fundamental networking/distributed computing environment concepts; can configure NFS, key-based ssh; DNS; familiar with basic networking concepts: switching, routing (BGP,(R)STP, source routing), firewalls, load-balancing at various layers Experience with leveraging public cloud services (VMWare, AWS, etc). Experience with managing, operating, monitoring backup systems Proactiveproblem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Team player, with excellent communication skills. Experience managing large-scale LAMP web-farms environment. Experience with programming languages used for scripting or automation of routine tasks (bash, Perl, PHP) an advantage. Bachelor of Computer Science preferred *Duties and Responsibilities:* Plan and coordinate capacity requirements for multiple Storage environments. Monitor Storgae utilization and proactively isolate and address potential issues. Responsible for installation, support, and maintenance of storage devices and virtualizedsystems. Efficiently manage configuration for 1,600+ virtualized servers and dependent services (web, e-mail, dns, development and deployment runways) . Develop and maintain monitoring and trending for all deployed storage devices and services. Manage all Storage file protocols NFS, ISCSI, FC, CIFS.bi <http://cifs.bi/> Plan for, and respond to, service outages and other problems. Must be able quickly and accurately diagnose problems withinStorage environment and related Virtualized severs and services. Proficient in scripting or light programming. Provide leadership and mentoring to other team members.
