Additional Skills
- Knowledge of Informix, and Cassandra preferred
- Intermediate experience with Telecommunications (e.g. VOIP, SIP, RTP,
CCXML, MRCP, VXML, etc.) preferred
- Knowledge of the patent process preferred

10-14 yrs
Min and Max relevant yrs. experience
2-3 yrs

Additional information
i. Responsible for the direction, strategy,
design and communication of software architecture to ensure that technical
software is extensible, scalable, reliable, secure, maintainable, and
achieves business and IT performance.
- Provide architectural building blocks and fundamental design concepts,
ensuring robust design using repeatable and reliable processes and reusable
modules (SOA).
- Generate prototypes, models, early user guides to keep the engineers
and users constantly up to date and in agreement on the system to be
provided as it is evolving.
- Leads cross-functional team efforts to define architecture roles for
strategic and tactical projects to ensure that alignment to architecture
roadmap strategies are achieved.
- Ensure that the technology footprint is maintained in a scalable
fashion.
- Lead the architecture assessment planning and executions for system
retirements and migrations to new platforms.
- Produce and maintain the appropriate technical and architectural
documentation.
- Provide standards, framework, code reviews and guidance to engineering
organization.
- Interface with stakeholders to determine the evolving needs of
multiple organizations (IT Operations, Business Units, Product Management,
etc.)
- Research and evaluate software products for fitness and licensing cost.
