for a *BICC
and Data Governance Implementation Specialist*. This is going to be a *6
month contract* *.*
*Business Intelligence Consultant with BICC and Data Governance
Implementation ExperienceOmaha, NE6 month contract *
Description Client is seeking assistance in setting up a Business
Intelligence Competency Center (BICC) and Data Governance Framework (DG).
*Position Details:*
· Utilize C3D BI Suite Integration
· Define report development methodology/process
· Define requirements gathering processes/templates
· Define report development standards
· Define quality and data validation process
· Define report testing approach
· Define report promotion process
· Define Production Change Control process
· Define BICC-DG governing organizational structure
· Define BICC and Data Governance roles and responsibilities
· Define the BICC-Data Governance pilot project.
· Assist in defining and scoping of a pilot project which will
apply/exercise the BICC and Data Governance best practices, standards,
templates and processes under the newly established enterprise-wide
governance structure.
· Define training plan/activities for pilot group
· Pilot BICC-DG Processes, practices, standards through the chosen
pilot project – Pilot project to be governed by and follow the BICC-DG
processes and practices and governance controls.
· Gather pilot feedback and adjust as needed
· Review pilot results and provide recommendations for improvement
· Refine processes/templates
*EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:*
· Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science(s) or Engineering or
hold a Technical Degree in
Computer Science(s) (or equivalent combination of education and
minimum 5+ years experience
relative to this position's qualifications)
*Candidate must have experience in: *
· Crystal Reports
· Microsoft SQL Server
· Visual Studio
· Analysis and Design of SQL Reporting Services (2008 +)
· Designing Report Builder 3.0 reports
· Analysis and Design of SQL Server Analysis Services (2008 +)
· Design of SQL Server Integration Packages (2008 +)
· C3D BI Suite Integration
· Converting Crystal Reports to SQL Server Reports
· Knowledge of BICC best practices
· Experience in implementing a BICC
· Knowledge of Data Governance Best Practices
· Experience implementing Data Governance.
