We need a candidate with IT Project Management, Accounting and CODA
implementation experience (CODA 10 preferred).
Job description:
We have an opportunity for a temporary assignment in our Accounting
department in New York City. We need a person with the skills and experience
listed below to assist us in finalizing the data validation for a project
implementing a new accounting system. This person would shadow and supervise
an employee that currently telecommutes and would also be responsible for
providing daily status updates to the project team. Based on a candidate’s
performance and our need, the assignment could be extended to assist in
further phases of the implementation.
- 5+ years working as a financial systems administrator or project manager
- Experience implementing a new financial system
- Ability to work independently with tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills; ability to provide senior leadership with
regular updates on project status
- Strong knowledge of Excel; Excel VBA & Macros is a plus
- Knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, charts of accounts and
financial transactions
- Knowledge of CODA (browser-based versions 10.0 or higher) financial
systems, CODA-XL; experience with report creation and hierarchy building is
a plus
- Knowledge of SQL is a plus
