*Role – Business Analyst Location – New York City, NY* *Duration – 12+ Months* *LOCALS ONLY as F2F is Mandatory.* * Equity Derivatives Business* The candidate will be Business Analyst with US Equity Derivatives IT team, responsible for Business analysis for projects in Execution ( Cash and Derivatives), Hedging Strategies, Structured Products, Sales and Pricing. S/he will also be responsible for project management of small to medium projects The responsibilities which will include but will not be limited to: • Assist overall project management for Equity Derivatives IT • Support of listed/OTC derivatives and Hedges trade capture or trade ordering requirements for such systems or platforms • Regulatory or Legal requirements such as SEC rule changes, formal regulatory inquiries regarding any Listed Derivatives trade capture or execution systems • Provide subject matter expertise in derivatives and Cash Securities trade capture, processing, execution and risk management • Familiarity with Product Control and Risk Management /Control processes for a Derivatives desk desirable • Familiarity with Execution systems and venues in US for Cash Stocks and Listed Derivatives desirable • Familiarity with Risk Valuations, Scenarios, Modeling/Analytics desirable • Assist with Internal or External Audit examinations or inquiries • Assist with project management aspects of other adhoc projects and/or systems as determined by the Manager • Gathering of detailed business requirements and deliver detailed business functional requirements specifications • Assisting the Development Team with Technical Design • Document system data flows, business process designs, test specifications and training materials for various stakeholders • Managing/Coordinating the System & UAT Testing processes • Assistance with Implementation and support of Post Implementation Support Issues • Hands on ability to execute SQL queries and understand data models • Ability to understand both plain vanilla and complex OTC and Listed Equity Derivative products • Ability to understand the front to back trade lifecycle for Equity Derivatives • Ability to multi-task numerous projects and/or requirements concurrently • Degree in technical or business related disciplines (Comp Science, Finance, Economics) • 3-10 years’ experience in a business analysis capacity in either a front of back office development environment • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Investment Banking Industry (preferred Investment Banking Front Office Technology) • Experience with financial system application implementation • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies • Good time management skills and proven ability in meeting deadlines and working in a pressurized front office facing high pressure and results-driven team environment • Strong literacy in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Visio Ability in SQL and basic proficiency in Unix needed, scripting ,automation and data analysis skills desirable * DO NOT SEND IRRELEVENT PROFILES PLEASE* *DO NOT SEND IRRELEVENT PROFILES PLEASE* *DO NOT SEND IRRELEVENT PROFILES PLEASE* * Regards,* AMIT KUMAR *Sr. Recruiter* *IDC Technologies Inc.*| *1851 McCarthy Boulevard, Suite 116, Milpitas, CA , USA, 95035* ( *: **408-457-9381 Ext 4035 **I **: *[email protected] <[email protected]>** I Gtalk: Recruiter.amitk | Skype: Amitiilm* *Web: www.idctechnologies.com <http://www.idctechnologies.com/>* "Under Bill s. 1618 Title III passed by the 105th U.S. Congress this mail can not be considered spam as long as we include a way to be removed from our mailing list.
