*Start Date ASAP* *MUST HAVE:* * Selenium Web Driver) The Software Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for writing and executing manual and automated test cases, identifying defects, and resolving technical issues to ensure that developed products meet the design specifications and are within Technology Group standards.Identifies test scenarios and writes test cases based on user story acceptance criteria.Investigates and reports defects and related quality concerns effectively to team members, including: other SQEs, QA Manager, developers, project managers, product owners, and business analysts.Understands and implements, at an individual level, software quality engineering best practices.Analyzes and ensures requirements/User Story acceptance criteria are acceptable for test case creation.Executes manual and automated test cases, as well as performs back end data validation.Tracks test progress and results in test management tools like JIRA and Quality Center.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESWork with other project teams to identify dependenciesAble to research root causes around customer facing incidentsOrganize, implement, and execute defined testing processes within the test teamIdentify, recommend and implement mitigation strategies to keep project work on trackMonitor QA work and escalate issues when appropriateEnsure user story, task, and defect statuses in JIRA and Quality Center are up to dateValidate defects and assist in triage of defectsEnsure integration testing is conducted as needed – set up meetings with other teams, discuss testing needs, ensure testing is doneExperience testing in Agile software development lifecycleIntermediate experience or knowledge required in: HTML; XML; Java; JavaScript; SQL/TSQL(Includes DML/DDL/function commands), stored procedures, DB Tracing, DB profiling/SQL Profiler, impact analysis, DB sharding; AJAX, JSON, XPathUnderstanding of Coding Fundamentals (variable declaration, program flow, functions, error handling, etc)Understanding of Web Services (SOAP, REST)Familiarity with automated testing tools (Selenium Web Driver) and ability to script automated test cases.Experience using estimation practices related to task durations to meet schedules in an Agile software development environmentStrong PC skills including thorough knowledge of MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, VisioAbility to learn and actively seek new skills and knowledge to keep up with the changing technology field, including bringing any new ideas to the SQE departmentAbility to think outside the box, adapt to circumstances, learn from co-workers, and share information and experiencesAbility to be flexible and adapt to any given situationAbility to perform multiple tasks concurrentlyExcellent customer service attitude, communication skills (written and verbal), and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent leadership skillsAbility to make timely and sound decisionsDetail orientedAbility to work independently and mostly in a team based environmentAbility to work efficiently in a fast paced environmentAbility to work under pressure and in high stress situationsMust be self-motivatedEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Computer related field preferred with two (2) to five (5) years of experience and/or equivalent work experience; or equivalent education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. * *Please send resume to Email: [email protected] <[email protected]>Voice : 203-652-1444 Ext: 116* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
