I have a position for the below requirement, please do reply me to *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *IMMEDIATE NEED* *SAP BODS / Basis Administrator* *Stamford, CT* *12 Months* *J.D:* - SAP Certified Technology Associate - NetWeaver/Oracle DB rel. 10g + - 4 + years of experience on SAP Business Objects Platform (SBOP) especially SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS) - 4+ years of experience with Oracle in an SAP environment, Oracle performance tuning and space administration - 4+ years on Unix platforms (scripting experience a plus) - Experience with Database and System copies and system recovery using Oracle and SAP tools - Knowledge of DB Tools/Utilities (e.g., Enterprise Manager, Utilities, SQL Developer ) - Strong troubleshooting and proactive analytical skills to ensure minimum downtime of production databases - Thorough understanding of Oracle connectivity at a logical and physical level. • Experience working as SAP BASIS DBA with demonstrated experience related to support, maintenance, and implementation projects in SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS). • Involved with at least two full lifecycle implementations of SAP BODS • Hands-on expertise working with the SAP infrastructure and components of the SAP BASIS environment • Experienced working with SAP environments under UNIX or Linux Platform with ORACLE Database • Understand and use Unix, Linux and Solaris based scripting in support tasks including problem solving and troubleshooting skills in SAP projects • Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Must have experience working on small fast pace project teams • Must have the ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
