*Position: IDMS Database Administrator * *Duration: 12 monthsLocation: Des Moines, Iowa* Summary: The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for data analysis and database management. The client is looking for a highly motivated individual that works well with customers and team members for a robust and expanding set of IDMS legacy systems. This individual will need to be comfortable doing senior level systems support including: upgrades, performance tuning, maintaining indexes, expanding systems, working with mainframe system engineers, and providing day-to-day customer support. This individual will also be required to work some off-hours’ shifts and may be required to be on call. The client is looking for an individual who is a self-starter, who is willing to research and stay current on IDMS version and who is willing to learn new technologies featured with each new version of IDMS and share with the group. This job offers the opportunity to continue to expand and improve IDMS.
