Position : Network Administrator Location: Hammonton, NJ Duration : 3-6 months Interview: Phone/ In-person is required to get hired Responsibilities: Assists developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualizing and developing new innovations in support of software programs and applications. Plans, implements, and supports the network and infrastructure strategic plan. Performs technology needs analysis and budgetary analysis. Assists with technology planning through ongoing research. Support business users, network and Infrastructure, 24/7 through the I.T. On-Call procedures. Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements. Level 3 support on all trouble tickets related to Network, OS, and Infrastructure. Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate disks, and media is replicated and sent off site as necessary. Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies Provides support in the area of process improvements & automations. Provides support to security standards and SOX Compliancy. Performs special projects and assignments as required. Provides data for timekeeping, budget authorizations, and performance measurements. Assists with Disaster Recover / Business Recovery Planning & Testing Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines. Performs duties inherent in all professional salary environments. Ability to work multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously. Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or related field. Significant relevant experience may be substituted for the educational requirement Professional certification is required Systems Administration/System Engineer certification (i.e., MCSE) Experience: More than 3-5 years of working experience in planning, designing, deploying, managing, and troubleshooting MS Active Directory Experience leading at least three Active Directory migrations/upgrades, with preferably one of those being from Active Directory 2008 to 2012. Working knowledge with Microsoft Active Directory federation services (SAML) Senior level 3-5 years working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration and group policy maintenance. Senior level 3-5 years system administration experience. Experience in Windows, Linux, Android and MAC operating systems, including updates and bug fixes. Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities, Configure / add new services as necessary. Upgrade and configure system software that supports SJI infrastructure applications or asset Management applications per project or operational needs. Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures. Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning. Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required. Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
