Location: Allentown, PA Duration: 6 month Contract Process: Face-To-Face Only *Summary:* · Acts as a hands-on developer in designing, developing, and installing software solutions. · The primary responsibilities focus around the implementation of these solutions to analyze, fetch, and return data for an alpha/proof of concept product · Regularly contributes to rapidly changing functional enhancements based on customer feedback. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * · Designs, encodes, tests, and debugs both internal and external web pages, applications, and forms required to achieve proper process flow and communication of data. Secures internal web pages and applications to authorized use only; secures external web pages and applications to protect against vulnerability. · Implements web based solutions using C# and .NET Web API 2, complete with unit tests. Develops in Visualforce, Apex, Java, AJAX, and other IS technologies, customized solutions that support business requirements and drives key business decisions. · Takes ownership of all technical aspects of Salesforce.com, including data migrations, data integrity, administration, systems integrations, third party applications, AppExchange products, and custom code. · Develops reports in Microsoft Reporting Services and Stored Procedures in T-SQL in a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 or newer environment. Performs troubleshooting, tuning, and optimizing of SQL Queries where necessary. · Delivers project assignments on time, within budget and with high quality. · Collaborates with architects and other software engineering resources in designing and implementing integrated, enterprise solutions. Stays current with the newest online technologies; researches new technologies and recommends business smart and cost effective implementations. Maintains functional knowledge of clinical systems in order to understand customer use as well as to aide in providing quality customer service. · Works with the management to review technical specifications as required, meeting the objectives of functional specifications. Specifically, identifies specific interfaces, methods, parameters, procedures or functions as required. · Supports the IS team as needed for ongoing systems and operational demands. Provides organizational on-call support. · Builds tests and documents systems; creates test-driven developments wherever possible. Maintains accurate documentation of procedures utilized in the performance of the job, updating them as processes change in accordance with established Document Control Policies. · Participates in the full SDLC (Agile), including meetings, iterative development, estimations and design sessions. · Trains end-users for the effective utilization of implemented applications. *Experience:* · Bachelor’s degree (B. S.) in Medical Technology, Information Science or related field of study. · Minimum of 4 year’s experience in building web applications using the latest standards-based approaches including Microsoft C# and .NET, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3. Experience in Healthcare and/or Payroll with an understanding of HIPAA transaction sets and deductions a plus. · Experience with web services, REST & SOAP, JSON & XML. · Possess a solid understanding of OOP and API patterns. Extensive knowledge and direct involvement with Agile development methodologies, designing and developing MSSQL T-SQL and Stored Procedures, VSS, TFS, Git/GitHub source control systems, SQL Server Management Studio and IIS Manager.
