Job Title : Messaging Test Architect Location : Nashua, NH Duration : 1+ yr Contract Rate :$50/hr Job Description: We are currently looking for a Messaging Test Architect (ProgrammerAnalyst) for a 1+ year project. This candidate would be working inNashua, NH. This candidate will assist testing applications andcomponents by architecting a continuous testing environment, developingand documenting test services and reusing open source initiatives where appropriate, for an Ajilon client who is a world leader in SMS and MMSmobile messaging services. Skills Required: Five (5) to eight (8) years programming experience with Java,Tcl/Tk, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting and UNIX/Linux command line interface 10+ years of QA and test experience, including test leadership and recent experience with SMS or MMS service testing (to the Application Layer) in a UNIX environment 2 - 4 years of Java development experience, particularly core Java including threads and sockets programming Networking SS7 and IP Experienced using open source and commercial tools and libraries to build test and regression frameworks. (For example: Logica Open Source SMSC Simulator, Eclipse, Log4j, JMeter, Subversion) Knowledge in wireless data/messaging technologies (SMS, SMPP,CIMD, UCP/EMI and/or HTTP, etc.) and Cross-Carrier Mobile content programs Experience with live and simulated MMSC supported protocols,including MM1, MM2, MM7, MM4 or EAIF, etc.) Advanced SQL Skills with Oracle and/or Sybase A Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience) The ability to communicate on a technical as well as a non-technical level Proven team player with strong interpersonal skills possessing a demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects with varying priorities Preferred Skills: Should be highly technical and innovative and have prior experience developing and integrating software to verify new product functionality Knowledge and application of commercial and open source testing tools, their benefits and issues when integrated for continuous testing Experience in telecommunication industry Experience in C/C++ on Linux Understanding SDLCs, application and testing lifecycles Thanks & Regards Kavi Johnson, Voice: 201 257 5081 x 293, Email: [email protected] Gmail : [email protected]--
