Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or other relevant degree; OR equivalent experience of 5 years minimum in one or more aspects of information systems development 4+ years IBM Infosphere DataStage ETL tool (version 7.5.2 or greater) 4+ years of UNIX or Linux development environment experience Multiple programming language (shell scripts, PERL, C++, .NET, or other) experience 4+ years of experience with SQL against relational databases, preferably Teradata, Oracle,DB2 Preferred Qualifications: Able to act as a lead developer responsible for the planning, completion and coordination of work activity for projects involving more than one developer Experience working with a virtual team environment over multiple locations, including off-shore Effective communications with all levels of internal staff, including issue resolution, negotiation of project related priorities, and completion dates An understanding of a variety of modeling and/or diagramming techniques, with the ability to create process flow diagrams and the ability read data flow and entity relationship models Strong analytical and technical aptitude Tivoli (TWS) or equivalent job scheduling tool experience Exposure to complex, cross-departmental projects involving multiple platforms Ability to deliver functionality in two or more programming languages within a single development environment Ability to create detailed technical design specifications Ability to lead walk through of design documents Healthcare industry knowledge Knowledge of Hadoop and Java Master's degree in computer science, business or other relevant degree *Job Information:* Job Description Need DataStage developers The Polaris program is defining the next generation Healthcare Payer administration platform that enables a cohesive end-to-end Health Plan administration platform, including; Account Implementation, Member Enrollment, Product Definition, Provider Networks, Contracting and Reimbursement, and Claims Adjudication.
